Scott:

I am not qualified to give any legal advice whatsoever.

I can say that in this country we have time lines and laws which cover PD properties and copyrights and trademarks, as  you know.

I have never heard of Sarah Cronin Stanley, therefore I have no way of knowing on what grounds she would object to the PD status of Juggernaut,  nor what rights she may  or may not have or may have had to the film, nor what argument she used to convince You Tube to take it down.  Have you asked them?

As I am sure you know also, the laws in the UK are different from ours in regards to celebrity rights and PD properties, so that may affect the handling of Col. March by You Tube.

As I do not do any form of social media, I can be of no help with You Tube issues.

If you would like the name of the person I use for copyright searches and PD questions I would be glad to provide  his name to you.

Good Luck and Happy Holidays.

I had a copy of your father's film Juggernaut 1936 on You Tube which I believed to be in the public domain. It went well when coupled with British Intelligence.
After five years someone named Sarah Cronin Stanely instructed You Tube to remove it. The address listed was renown ltd, which seems to be a British channel with Colonel March, a series which You Tube won't publish at all.
It doesn't seem like Grand National would still be in copyright. Above all, I have the Mr. Wong films on You Tube and don't want to loose any of the five.

Can you shuttle me a quick Christmas hello letting me know how you feel about Public Domain and the digital internet. You have written to me once before and I appreciated it greatly.
